TGX, cancer treatment company with real earnings, up today! News?? Business Summary Theragenics Corporation develops, manufactures, and markets implantable radiation devices (seeds) for the treatment of prostate cancer. For the 9 months ended 9/30/98, revenues rose 63% to $28.1M. Net income rose 71% to $10.7M. Revenues reflect increased production volume of Theraseed(R) and increased patient awareness of the Theraseed(R) procedure. Earnings reflect the sales and marketing agreement with Indigo Medical, Inc. Does anyone know why this is up nicely today?? Is there upcoming news, or what?
