I think they have a very good shot at turning this one around. Something seems to be happening. The stock is moving more than usual. May not have staying power put it is moving.

Lots of sale catalogs coming to the house. If I needed household items, it would encourage me to visit a store. Not much for jewelry but I am not your average female. I have watched the advertising and they are staying competitive.

Ya know I'm reading the press releases yesterday and sometimes I wonder why they just don't convert the whole thing into a jewelry store only...I think if they did that right they could own the U.S. jewelry market...I don't know what's causing it to go up today...Personally I think although there may not be a Service Merchandise in the future there WILL be a Service Merchandise Jewelry chain somewhere. I'm not in the stock now but still watching...
