And market demand is the source of revenues; I admit thats' a fundamental concern and does not belong on this thread.

In so far as it's demand for equities though, I read this week that mutual funds had increased cash positon to 9% which must mean significat increase in equities allocations. Wonder if that's enough to pop to 10,000?

Not sure I follow you here. The transports continue to be below 200 dma which they broke prior to the first big decline.

Those are good points. But I am skeptical that you can pinpoint 4 year cycle bottom to the day!
