I think that we are getting very close to the point that CYMI's potential is going to start to be realized. The semiequipi-mfg are rebounding strongly on the belief that the semi co's themselves will be seeing a resurgence in business within the next 12 months. So far, the betting has largely been on the equipment guys. I believe that once the semi-mfg themselves begin to feel more confident about their business pipeline they'll start to make the investments they'll need to be competitive through the next major upcycle in the business. Because of the extreme leverage that dramatically smaller die sizes make, once a few key players in each market segement make the move to bring most or all production over to sub .25 the rest will have to follow or see their cost of production become uncompetitive with co's that have made the investment. I don't have the figures in front of me, but, a move from .35 to .25 or .18 has an exponential effect on yield... Its like a long string of dominos, once they start going its going to be like an avalache...
