In at least two respects, if not more. Sick as in perverse. Sick as in technically speaking. Sick as unrelated to fundamentals.
....

Blah, blah blah

Did you see the recent PEI piece about the mother of all bubbles being fomented by the concentration of capital in the market of one country.

Admittedly -- those guys are kind of wacky, but what they say in this instance makes a little bit of sense.

<<sick market, ain't it? >>
I wish I remained a dumb investor of 93 when I bought in to Casino Magic 'cause it was going up. I made good money in 3 weeks. Then a negative Herd on the Street article in WSJ. It came crashing down. I doubled-up. I made twice as much money. Unfortunately, I held-on for too long and lost all the gains and more. Having learned from that mistake, I got out too early on MCHP. A year later, all I was playing was momentum stocks, spilt stocks etc. etc. Often, my portfolio doubled in 3 months. And by year-end (91-94) I only had a respectable gains (or slight loss in 94) to show - not gang-buster like in the middle of the year (I always did something to shoot myself in the foot.) Anyhow, I now attempt some such feats (like ATHM) once in a while. For wahtever reason, I can not pull the triger on MoMo trades as easily as I used to. Call it "learning the hardway" or "I will never learn." -g-
One of the lessons I learned late is that bubble at 6500 can remain intact for another 50% helium. Another lesson (rather, forced to accept what I learned in my readings) is that Governments are there to pamper the bulls and patch the bubble if it sees leaks.
