I was just thinking .....

In the last three days, 51.7 million shares of SUNW are in new, hopefully stronger, hands.

With increasing trading volume this week (very volatile volume) I thought it might be interesting to look back over the last four years to September, 1994 (data which I have on a spreadsheet).

The highest 3 day trading volume total is for November 20, 21 and 22, 1994 which totaled 96.5 million shares.

This compares to November 30, December 1 and 2, 1998 which totaled 51.7 million shares (14.7341, 16.4214 and 20.5619 est) which ranks about 15th overall of the highest 3 day totals.

3 day total trading volumes prior to any splits have been adjusted.

I can not tell you what this means, other than I was surprised that the last 3 days did not rank higher.

Perhaps someone more technical could comment about the recent volume relative to earlier heavy periods.

PS The highest volume on an individual day was November 21, 1995 - 48.3 million shares split adjusted. The 2nd highest day was October 17, 1997 - 40.7 million shares.
