Sonki, good day for AMAT (thought I remembered your having it). Even my pathetic LSI was up 1 9/16! I've learned a lot about the semi equip stocks and their movements since getting AMAT. It seems that "everyone" wants to buy them (at least the "Generals" of the group). All kinds of bad news is discounted, and if they see any glimmer of hope out there, up they go. Maybe it works the same way to the downside, I don't know. Anyway, Daddy needs to go looking at cars. <g>

Sonki. You are lucky that Fido will take care of your bad fill. I understand that a lot of people put in orders to sell in the 50's and got stopped out at 40. Same thing was supposedly happening with Onsl. When there is no buying for a quick moment, it seems to create a vacuum and the stop limit will be passed by quickly. This is still the reason that I trade with a discount broker instead of the net, even if it is a bit higher. I never had a surprise so far, knock on wood. I may be looking to internet trades when it comes to true and tried stocks. gg.

I still have Onsl and Mall. It looked good earlier on Wednesday, but then got hit again in the end.

Someone on CNBC called Coms a stock to buy.

I heard a possible IPO for uBid this week or next. Would be nice if it happened on Thursday. Maybe Mall would benefit. I think Ticketmaster IPO was put ahead of schedule. It was priced at 14? after the market closed.

The Globex futures look dreadful at this time. There was supposed to be a piece about the internet stocks on CNBC on Wednesday night, but I have not been able to find it on my tape.
