Gerald, Aren't huge portions of those donations actually Microsoft software which can be knocked off and donated for very, very little cash out of pocket cost? It's been a way to build mindshare for Microsoft. This $100,000,000 is a totally different story, because there is almost no direct or indirect benefit to Microsoft. This one is truly philanthropic. I salute Mr. Gates for finally putting some cold hard cash into something out of the ordinary for him. I look forward to see many contributions from him over the ensuing years. Who knows he could be swimming with the salmon in the back yard with his daughter one day... stak
