Gottfied: Lehman's 1999 oil price outlook still is much brighter than Charlie Maxwell's. Looks like the industry may have to go through a virtual depression to clean out the weaker players so that the strong will be able to feast when things improve. This will great for long term investors as they will be able to establish positions in quality players at ridiculosly low prices and reap huge gains a few years down the road. May not be so good for traders though. No more 50% gains in a few weeks time? PATIENCE will be required to reap the big bucks.
