I'm trying really hard to be optimistic for the long term but this is certainly very disappointing. My general feeling for the past 12 months has been that the companies earnings would return and exceed previous highs. I had based this on the addition of new sales channels via the DEC acquisition and the introduction of the new products from YAGO amongst a few other positives such as the potential of $300 million a year contract with Compaq ( ie about 20% of estimated revenues from just one company), and a strong installed base.

I still feel there is more value in this company than is reflected in their revenues, earnings and stock price. I feel that the existing products (especially Spectrum and the newer switching products) given the proper channels would compete with anyone. We'll just have to wait and see how they can utilize that value. They'll either figure out a way to find appropriate channels, sell themselves to someone with proper channels or ________________ ( fill in the blank ).

If your a short term trader you've gotta love the volatility !

Better days ahead,

Mike
