Kash,

Thanks. I think NSM was up today due to the earnings and comments out of Analog Devices. Hopefully, National's analog business is looking up as well.

I don't know about $20 next week. I'd be happy to hold $15 this week.

Pravin.

Positive results from ADI seemed to spill over into NSM today.

In summary, Mr. Fishman said, ''We believe we are at the trough of what has been a very difficult period throughout the semiconductor industry, and that conditions will improve in 1999. In the short term, given continuing limited order visibility, short lead teams and a shortened first quarter due to the holidays, we believe it is prudent to plan for a relatively flat first quarter, followed by a pickup in revenues and profits beginning in the second quarter. We believe we will emerge from this difficult period as a stronger, better focused, more competitive company, with excellent prospects for gaining good operating leverage on increasing sales.''
