Subject: Company Earnings Warning
From: Ferdinando N. Spallone <heavenly@erols.com>

President Craig Benson,

As a stockholdeder (19,000 shares, 2,000 of which were
purchased today just prior to closing), I am dismayed to read
that just 20 days prior to QTRLY earnings announcement that
CS is expeced to report a loss of $ .10 (excluding charges).
--- The expectation was for a profit of $ .11!!!

I have been a stockholder for many years and have been
expecting to finally see the return of this company to
profitability...but it appears that 20 yards (days!) to
touchdown YOU have fumbled the ball! I find this NOT
ACCEPTABLE! Perhaps SOMEONE else should be carrying the
ball???

While you may cite many reasons for this surprising setback,
please understand that while CS is making inroads to compete
technologically with peers, CS (you) MUST be prepared to
make business decisions based upon informed short term and
long assessments and impact to the shareholders. This means
that your job is to run the business based on risk vs
reward, to set and accomplish previously identified GOALS on
tme, and to apprise your stockholders acordingly -
particularly, if any surprises pop up.

While it appears that CS products are now getting more
'press' and winning awards, the Company is in my opinion
still perceived by the 'street' as a dinosaur! particularly
from a business perspective!

I believe that when you took over you said that your goal
was to get CS stock up to 31 in 18 months,,,the stock is
10 3/4 in after trading, a far cry from 31.

Now I ask you: "What is YOUR goal for this company, both
Short and Long term!" While the 'street' would like to see
a great forward looking statement, I suggest you make it
realistic and put your job on the line.

Mr. Benson, it's time to fish or cut bait!
Unfortunately, I, too, will have to make that decision -- to
persevere as stockholder and voice my concerns, or bail out.

Best regards in this endeavor,
