Many thanks for the options primer, LoD. From reading your posts, I know that you are very experienced in the options arena. Since this will be my first time, I'm going to keep it simple and avoid the bull spread strategy you described so well. I'm leaning toward the 70s, since they are very close to being in the money (and probably will be the next time we have a good nasdaq day). An analyst being interviewed on cnbc as I'm writing this projected a short term run to 73 based on MD's remarks at the investor conference in AZ <g>. Good luck in your investments. I've enjoyed your posts; they show some creative ways of making more money on dell. Frank
