off topic: frog legs "T, Those dinky frogs don't make good eating, either. You need those granddaddy bull frogs with long old legs. " Over fifty years ago I used to be taken frog gigging for bullfrogs. Pretty gross and cruel, especially when it came to cutting the legs off of living frogs, but if you are a meat eater that's what you are doing. Yes, Tennessee bullfrog legs were large and suculent, about the size of turkey wings. You dazzled the frogs at night along a river or lake with an automobile headlight hooked to a pre-charge battery, and stabbed them with a trident on the end of a 12-foot cane pole, then dumped them in a burlap bag. Fried in batter and crumbs, very good. Then years later in Switzerland I ordered frog legs. What a bunch of dinky little bits of bones and meat! Sauteed in garlic and olive oil, nowhere near as good as the Tennessee variety. But an experience, I guess. But we really shouldn't discuss this in the presence of my African frog. What are? Some kind of cannibals?
