All,

CPQ has been looking like it was ready to breakout on the charts for some time. It's built a good base and appears to be ready for a move into the low forties. A close of 38 + will signal the breakout if one doesn't believe what they are seeing right now. Low forties very soon is my target for the nearterm and it's backed up with stock and calls. Nobody in their right mind should consider shorting cpq when all the brokers are starting to hop on the bandwagon. Bear Stearns today reiterated it's buy rating on cpq. This stock has been holding up well on some crappy days so here we go. Finally!! Good Luck longs.

Ted

El....................

I missed the edge, any mention of CPQ?
Looks weird seeing the closing price, sure hope we continue up from here! From the looks of the blocks on the BID at the close, we may get a little pop in the morning. Would be great to get through the 52 week high! I don't think it's probable for tomorrow though.

Kernen-INTC-CPQ.
A few weeks ago with INTC in the 90's Joe Kernen made the passing comment that it looked like INTC could break out past its 1997 high of 102. As we know, it did and has exceeded that old high by 15%. So what? Today, Kernen made the casual observation that they would have to watch CPQ because it looks like it will break out above its previous high of about $40. Soooo... $40 + 15%, not considering acquisitions, spin-offs,etc. gets us to $46. Sounds like a reasonable short term(Dec-Jan) goal to me.

Stuart.

INDI breakout is still looking good... techstocks.com

Does anyone know if the new Magic 25 have been released yet ??

That normally gives INDI a good bit of publicity for a week or two...

Jimbo.
