Ali,

Thanks for the post.

Idiot Yousef and the Intel gang of buffons will also enjoy the prices of the AMD chips.(He's predicting K7's will sell for $100 in 99 you know....hoping to keep his string of wrong pronouncements on AMD well into 99 methinks.)

This could be one hell of a quarter for AMD's earnings.

Every $10 ASP increase at 5M CPU's/quarter should net $0.30/share in NET PROFITS.

With Intel sold out with PII 300-350's and the Celery's self limited to 333Mhz and 66Mhz bus speeds this will be a merry Q4 indeed for AMD.

A $0.60-0.90 profit for the quarter may not be out of the question if they ship enough 400/380/366 K6-2's.

I see $35/share on the horizon.

Unfortunatley I hedged my position by writing 30 and 35 yr 2000 LEAPS.

Oh shucks, I may miss out on the booty.

Regards,

Kash
