larry: You do make some interesting arguments which could very well be true,nothing like putting a little fear and uncertainty in the mind of workers before the upcoming labor contract negotiations,perhaps a well conceived plan? Like you said this 'blame it on Asia' thing might just be a ploy and scare tactic,nothing like hiding behind something for which nobody could fault the management. Anyway I have noticed in the past that when a company with substance announces some real bad news the stock sinks like a rock on the day of the announcement only to recover nicely the next day or in a few days or weeks. Cases in point:- TEXACO,XEROX,KODAK,EXXON,IBM etc etc.... Hope the same thing happens to BA's stock.Just my opinion.
