Thanks for your advice, JBird. That's a great way of identifying the max return option. I'll build a spread sheet to help me make my decision.

Regards,
Frank

*OT* Do I have a (baseball) trade for you !

OK, Listen to this....the Braves send (1) Kevin Millwood or Bruce Chen and (2) Gerald Williams and (3) Graffinino or Lockhart and (4) top prospect (or two) to the Blue Jays for Roger Clemens...

That would make the Braves starting rotation: Clemens (5 Cy's)+ Maddux (4 Cy's) + Glavine (2 Cy's) + John Smoltz (1 Cy?)...The greatest ever...

At the end of the season, the Braves convert the rocket to their closer (he said he'd do ANYTHING to win a championship!)...and put Lightenberg in the set-up role....

Starting Lineup has seven guys who hit over 20 homers last year...

Speed (Jones, Nixon, Jordan)

Great defense...

Now, with THIS TRADE....The Braves would challenge (and I think unseat) the Yankees in the playoffs...I think the team I just mentioned could win 110+ games this year...and maybe even challenge the Yankees record this year...(although that would be tough)

Note: I can't see anyway the Braves are going to sign a top closer in the winter....If I thought they could get Trevor Hoffman, maybe they wouldn't need Clemens...

Finally, if the BlueJays dont go for the trade, take out Williams...throw in Klesko and you got a deal...with Clemens, they won't need Klesko's extra offense...
