redont know when the highs are
I guess I was meditating the following:
When DELL hits a year's high, watch for the next day to see if it pulls back a little or is still hitting year's high. Usually (not always but usually) it doesnt fall back all at once. That would be the time to sell covered calls for the next month. Then when your cov call got cheap enough because DELL was down 10% (or more) or just at a target "cheap" price, buy it back and also buy some more of the same or next month call, which should be cheap at that point. However, this time, for example, (I didnt do it, just kind of thinking it out still) the just-bought calls would have had to be sold within a two day period to make a profit, unless they go up next week, but thats way too close for comfort.
