I check the AMG site every week. Maybe I overlooked something, but I don't see where it gives the percentage of cash in mutual funds, as in the Marketgauge link I provided.

It seems unlikely that mutual fund cash holdings as a percentage of assets have doubled in a week, since that has never happened before. I think that there must have simply been a mistake. The figures can also be founf in the Wall Street Journal and Barrons, but Marketgauge is comnvenient for that one figure and I rely on them.

Mutual fund cash figures are near historic lows and very much into bear territory. That means that in the event of any redemptions beyond the minum they will be forced to sell stocks. Some funds seem to have credit lines to borrow to meet redemtpions. This is like margin and could result in even greater forced sales.
