I suppose they named that site so that when your wife looks over your shoulder at your "favorite sites", she'd see "teckstocks" and reasonably assume that it was a site devoted to high tech(k) stocks.

Yeah. That must be it.

Incidentally, my wife just asked me a few moments ago why I had two similar site names bookmarked. "techstocks" and "teckstocks". I just said it was a typo and I don't know how to correct it.
