A Dell IA64 workstation has to cost a lot less than SGI/SUNW/HWP/IBM RISC? Giving people a choice WRT OS. Providing 64bit addressing to applications (new ones) that hitherto, from a cost point (were on the cusp), couldn't go the route of RISC. Please don't get offended if I'm way off base. This is all pretty new stuff to me. Thanks, Mary
