Duker, that was tongue in cheek about Intel's yields! The only company possibly better than Intel re yields is IBM. But, we'll never know.

AMAT and the other generals like KLAC in this sector are something else. They go up at the slightest inkling of a turnaround. Other companies like Intel OTOH have to preannounce two qtrs in a row, and then exceed the new estimates that come out of those, then indicate sold out for at least two qtrs, then say Asia is doing as well as the rest of the world, and all this on top of several dollars a share per year earnings.

As a holder of both aforementioned stocks, however, I'm not complaining, just astounded about the one named AMAT.
