Even "I" won't touch VRTL.

TMN is good stuff and VRTL has always "appeared" to be a leader...but they have never put the marketing together to make anything significant happen. I think there a number of better plays on SP management infrastructure...remember TMN is a standard, so Vertel has no corner on this market...further more they will find it difficult competing against much larger companies like IBM and privately held companies like Open Systems and ISR Telecom.

If I wanted to play with infrastructure I'd look to Directories...MSFT and NOVL...or companies like Euristix..or other element management focused companies....

Aaanyway, Vertel would be one I wouldn't put my money into...I'm just not knocked down by their management or sales abilities.

Good luck!
