BA already experiencing DELAYS for ADSL Deployment...Home page says the following...<Bell Atlantic plans to service 2 million lines in 1998 and an
additional 5 million lines in 1999. Bell Atlantic's new selection of
Infospeed DSL services is now available to the Washington DC
and Pittsburgh metropolitan areas. It will be available in the
Philadelphia metropolitan area by the end of October. New
Jersey's Hudson River waterfront area will follow in November.
And the New York City and Boston metropolitan areas will
begin to come on-line in 1999. Additional markets will be
announced in the future. To obtain more detailed information
about our 1998 deployment plans, click here.

Enter your phone number below to check availability.

If you type in a phone number for Jersey's Hudson River, it will tell you Dec./Jan./Feb. If you type in a Mid to UP-Town Manhatten number, it will tell you Feb./March. If you type in a Mid to Down-town number, it will tell you not available!!!

It doesn't seem right that it specifically states that Hudson River NJ will be Nov. and NYC will be Jan and once you type in your number it is several months delayed...I have been wondering why I haven't heard any commercials for ADSL from Bell Atlantic...now I know why...THEY AREN'T READY YET! DELAYS DELAYS DELAYS DELAYS DELAYS DELAYS AND MORE DELAYS!
