Mike, I said a while ago that Microsoft was being too arrogant and pissing off the judge, and that it would hurt them. It may not sound fair, but that's life. I have a question for you--- do you think that Gate's testimony encourages the belief that Microsoft has something to hide? What your boss managed to do was to turn this case away from a discussion of what antitrust law is or should be and toward a discussion of what it is that Gates is so afraid to admit to. And that's also perfectly fair in law--- in a civil case, if you act guilty, you can be presumed guilty. Good luck to your witnesses-- I mean that. I also hope that Microsoft settles this thing, and doesn't foolishly hope for an appeals court to save them.
