"The two greatest forces against AMD...or ARE THEY THE SAME PERSON!"

JC from chiptech.com emailed this to me. VERY ironic if you ask me ;)

In case you are wondering who ga'ash is, he wrote his opinions
about the K7, and how he thinks KNI is completely superior (it
is slightly with a few extra things, but not as much as he wants
to think) to 3d NOW! at Anand's website.

Here is a link to a rebuttal of ga'ash's thoughts from some guys
who work at AMD: amdzone.com

Clock for clock AMD is the performance leader:

anandtech.com 1

K6-2 CTX 400: 26.8 winstones
PII-400: 25.6 winstones

And that's with the slower Socket 7 caching structure!

The gap will only widen more when K6-3 is released. Better get used to it.
