RMBS prospectus has a section that says Intel can match a 3rd party's offer in takeover. RMBS don't have to accept it. But they have to pay a penalty to compensate Intel blah blah blah. You don't think Intel is going to let the memory technology fall into somebody else hand like (IBM or NEC), do you.

As to Intel buy RMBS, I think it is to Intel's interest to let RMBS be a independent company. It makes Intel look 'impartial'.

General market is more worrisome than RMBS, IMHO.
