E, Thank you for a truly inspirational post. There are times the amount of words that flow about the horrific state of the world and the dearth of actions by individuals can be numbing or frightening; when it's all too easy to say-who can do anything in the face of all this pain? You and Rick, as opposite as you are, have shown what can be done with individual words, with your own personal gifts, with love. You did what I advocate so strongly but have NOT done (I am shamed!). You found a way to change the world beyond your own little corner, quietly and selflessly.
