Yousef,
Have you ever heard of Boeing and Airbus Industrie?...
One's the leader and the other is a consortium.
The leader isn't having much fun right now...
Could the AMD effort been seen as a consortium? AMD, IBM, MOTOROLA
VIA, ALi...

Yousef- RE: "And all this success only "netted" AMD 1 penny of profit in Q3."

Any profit is good when you remember the situation one year ago. The penny was also pretty impressive considering the fact that analysts expected a loss.

"Now AMD doesn't even have the finances to fund their own .18um process development effort"

How much does Intel plan to spend on their .18um process?

"I think that I detected a "cringe""

You can think all by yousef?
