Dont take me wrong. I am a registered Republican and have been voting for Republicans ever since I got my citizenship many many years ago. But I always believed that the party of Abraham Lincoln believed in fariness and honesty. President Lincoln in his second inaugural address stated the following (and this I have memorized from my first year at school at the time I was a naive idalistic student majoring in political science!):

"...With malice toward none; with charity for all; with firmness in the right, as God gives us to see the right, let us strive on to finish the work we are in; to bind up the nation's wounds; to care for him who shall have borne the battle, and for his widow, and his orphan-- to do all which may achieve and cherish a just and lasting peace among ourselves, and with all nations. "

I ask you the following: Do you honestly feel the so called Republicans controlling the congress at this time even know the meaning of the above words?!

Regretfully the impression I get from most (if not all) these Republicans in the congress is nothing but a bunch of losers whose eyes see nothing but hatred towrad President Clinton, and have commited themselves to do "whatever" it takes in order to overturn a democratic election! It has come to the point that I am truly ashamed for being registered as a Republican and I am truly sorry for that.

In any event, politics is indeed a very interesting subject but something that can not be discussed here.
