Bill: Thanks for the input. As always very informative. So, you see the Indices such as the IND/DJI, NYA, SPX going to new highs before starting a new pullback?

LG

PS: It is nice of you to post off your infamous thread. However, this thread is quickly turning into a collection of post from many of the best and brightest on SI and somehow it would have seemed incomplete without your wise contributions.

My MDA

Think I'll go to sleep early out here in Aus <g>

iqc.com

We are beginning to break out of the lower trend line. Any sharp move would take us below 13 dma. This often seems to be the end of a trend. In fact the whole move from Oct 8 looks like a giant version of the July rally. Stochastics look like sell to me. Other individual stocks I follow look bearish. Upper 34 day Bollinger Band is beginning to curl over as at previous tops. This top is just below the 34 week Bollinger Band as in July.

My own method (time series stuff) shows tops put in in many of these stocks plus possibly in the index.

Globex -10.1 VIX rising last three days.

My US portfolio is only short. Long in Aus etc. plus puts on Aussie index plus cash.

Bill: In addition, somehow I missed the post relating to your condition. I looked back through you thread, but could not find it...maybe I am just tired...and the neck is still bothering me.

I wish you well, what ever your condition!
