I own a little bit at 10ish and a lot more at $15.625. Today the stock had good volume at made a new high.Technically this is very good for the stock. They get paid every time an foldable lens is put in during cataract surgery. If you buy into the graying of America investment theme then this is a great investment. They also have a glaucoma wick that supposedly decreases the need for pot among those who suffer from this. That's sort of a joke but apparently the wick helps reduce the pressure that glaucoma causes. It is not approved yet but could be big. The consensus eps forecast for 96 is .54 and .80 for 12/97.

Hope this helps.

Greater acceptance of eye surgery?

Saw a program on PBS this afternoon. Dont know if it had been on before or not. It was like an infomercial singing the praises of eye surgery, all types. They did mention at the end the nice future prospects for intraocular contact lenses, especially for extreme myopia. Anyway, it is interesting to see eye surgery becoming more mainstream, if the show is an indication.
