WSJ has interesting piece on internet froth & MMs today -- NAVR mentioned.

interactive.wsj.com (subscription required).

Re 144s -- while 144s announce intention to sell, in practice they nearly always are filed on the date of sale. Insiders know that investors don't like to hear this stuff (look as WSJ yesterday on insiders at XCIT, AOL, & other internuts selling madly) and it makes no sense to wait around. I think it is reasonable to assume that these shares are in the market.

However, you should also remember that insiders usually have certain time windows in which to sell & that often (especially in startups) the CEO's get a substantial portion of their compensation from selling stock.

As to NAVR, I bought on Friday and sold on Monday. I'd hope to hold longer but the gapup morning spooked me (also out of EGGS & STDI). I think the MMs are going wash out the weak longs before this stock will move significantly up again. I would not be surprised to see NAVR back to 4-6 range shortly. IPO can be forthcoming for some time.

(Bald Man, you are getting a reputation for reverse infallibility).
