Hardware accelerator poll I would like to take a hardware poll for contributors on this board. Non-members are welcome to reply as well since it's by email. When I started typing this, it was going to be a Banshee poll, but I've extended it to all 3D accelerators. If you have any additional questions you would like included, please let me know via email. Do you use different ones for D3D vs OpenGL vs GLIDE? 3. If you have secondary PCs with 3D accelerators, what do they have in them? Do you use this for 3D ever? If so, gaming, or development? 4. Which OS's do you use? Which OS's would you like to use for 3D apps/games (regardless if it's supported right now or not, or even if you currently use that OS)? 5. Which games or APIs do your 3D accelerators not support that you wish it would? (Please include the name of the accelerators.) The following questions deal with satisfaction. Answer however you like, but please include a 0-100% rating for your satisfaction level. Please name your accelerator, especially if you are rating more than one. 6. How satisfied are you with the game compatibility of your main system's 3D accelerator(s)? 7. How satisfied are you with the non-game 3D compatibility of your main system's 3D accelerator(s)? 8. How satisfied are you with the OS compatibility of your main system's 3D accelerator(s)? Which OS's have you tried it with? 9. Would you like to participate in a monthly poll like this one about computer hardware? (I haven't started doing this yet, but will consider it if I get enough responses. In which case, it will be administered through CGI and also through a mailing list.)
