the S&P futures were improving all morning.
They were only down 5+ prior to the rate cut.......
and that in itself does not signal a "tank". Fair value calculation has to be factored into the equation.
Best guess would have been for a slightly negative open.

interesting way of looking at things. if it wasn't for edison, GE would have made for a lousy investment also. The market ultimately tanked today but if you want to make money don't fight the tape. It's a loosing battle!
