Holy cow! Leave it to the New York Times to make a simple game review totally incomprehensible!!

(Disclaimer - I grew up near New York City so we got the Sunday Times, I love Tetris, and I have a degree in Aerospace Engineering with 12 years of advanced math!)

As helpful a review (from longs' perspective) as we could hope for from an adult's publication like NYT, IMHO. Makes the argument to overeducated parents that Devil Dice is an exemplar of games that can be great for kids. I don't know how much influence it will have, but I will bet that many parents will buy this game for Christmas who would not have considered it otherwise.

Incidently, while her perspective on video games may be a bit one sided, I think she makes some valid points about their potential benefits that are generally under-appreciated.

Thank you, J. C. Herz.
