In January's Mutual Funds Magazine they addressed this fund in their BUY-SELL-HOLD column Money Moves:

It's time to move on" says Jack Bowers, editor of Fidelity Monitor. "Although the fund will probally recover from this years loss, its small cap financial holdings ar no longer cheap like they were in the first half of the '90s."

The FundLiner David Menashe reports that "Fidelity Select Home FInance has been the worst performer this year in the banking and insurance sector," he recommends switching to Select Regional Banks.

In my reply #1296 I had the fund 2nd to last in the POWER RANKINGS for the year. Have a good day!!!
