I work for a large consulting firm and our Communications practice is doing some sort of work with Yellow Freight (Nasdaq - YELL) a large transport company. Well I overheard one of the AA's talking on the phone with AT&T regarding an upcoming conference call they are going to have but she also mentioned that they were interested in getting some kind of dedicated 800 line where employees can call in a hear weekly messages from management. Of course ATT couldn't necessarily help with this but I gave her the number to TSIS. Hopefully she will call and maybe get us a new client out of this but just in case, if anyone out there is in contact with the company wishes to let them know this info, maybe one of the salespeople can call. It's worth a shot. Yellow Freight has over 34,000 employees and if they have a weekly message, that translates into a nice chunk of change. I'm not part of this project and I really don't know anything about what work we're doing for them. I just overheard a conversation and thought I would suggest TSIS.

I would love to hear thoughts on this from the thread and it would be great if someone could let the company know.

Bill

I would like to explain an idea I have about how TSIS can double or triple it's business with it's existing technology.

There are hundreds of marketing research firms nationwide that compile market surveys with mailed in postcards. This information is then sorted , compiled and classified. I know of one national hotel chain that pays a research firm close to a million bucks a year to compile and sort several thousand results a month.

I feel TSIS could do all of this with an 800 number and some good programers, with all the information keyed in over the phone rather than have the post cards mailed in. Actually I am surprised at how many research firms still us the hunt and peck method. The computer could compile all the results and the report sent in more on time and more accurately each month. If anyone feels this approach would be productive how about passing this along to Scott. They may wish to offer an entirely new service.. gregor
