If you buy a stock and it goes up, that is one way of saying you are correct.

And who would be unhappy being correct in that regard? :)

Or you could say that being correct and the price of your stocks are two separate factors.

A good way of parsing it but do stocks have an existence outside of the market's expectations of it? I'd guess that given a curve and a set of constraints including AG's personality you can predict what he will do and if you profit from that, have you Foreseen The Future(tm)or did you just make a shrewd bet? Or, does that belong on the Philosophical Disquisitions thread? :)
