I too have both the Dell Optiplex (at a discount through my company) and the newest Micron Millenia and as far as I can tell, there's no difference in the two boxes... they use genuine Intel throughout...same Intellimouse, etc. Where Dell has an edge is in the internal box maintenance features, (ie. pull straps on connectors, esd covers on unused connectors, color coding, etc.) Micron has an edge on looks and my son swears it's quite a bit faster with great sound system, and in his words.."the 3D is awesome".<G> Of course we've always known Micron as a power user's machine.

I do own both stocks, by the way. Heavier on Micron's side.
