Hi fellow investors,
the loss ? I'm not worried. Look at AMZN. Only losses there. The focus shift - cloture of 1 store is the right message. A strategic commitment. What I like is they doubled web revenues. The IPO will allow for faster growth.

Growth - that's what I hope for. Not profits. If they show profit, then they forego growth. Web is about critical mass. You could either remain tiny and have the 0.01 profit, some P/E pundits are eagerly awaiting. Or You have the 0.10-0.50 losses per quarter and growing EXPONENTIALLY. That's what I want to see.

In the past, they had to fund all their web based ads from the cashflow. Now they have enough $$$ to do some SERIOUS promotion efforts. Does anyone know where are the banner ads & links & portal deals that link to CMPL ? I for sure saw them ad Techweb. (Cahner*'s group). Any other observation ? That's what I think is important. Pls. forward anything You might see..

best regards
CROSSY

BTW: best valuation method for webstocks IMHO is Price to Sales (PSR). Can be further refined by just taking the current sales quarter figure and multiply it by 4 (works in non-seasonal environments like here). PSR is lower than AMZN, that's for sure <g>
