Anand's test system was the same for both 400 MHz chips, with the exception of CPU, motherboard, and chipset. K6 shows a higher score than PII at 400 MHz on Anand's site. Anand doesn't post 450 MHz scores.

I was using Anand's figures to extrapolate a likely score for PII-450
Using the relationship between Win 98 score and clock speed cited by Anand .
Using these figures , I estimate that a PII-450 will score 27.4
on Win 98 vs the 26.8 cited for K6-2 400 ,
