DWEB's relationship with SME - DWEB is constructing an Internet based electronic procurement system for SME. The system, EDIxchangeBuy, is designed to plug into SME's existing E-commerce infrastructure (Electronic Data Interchange - EDI) and to extend it's reach to the web. This allows SME's, smaller, less sophisticated suppliers to conduct E-commerce (receive PO's; send invoices and ship notices) using merely a browser and a web connection.
