Hi Jeff, I haven't found a clue as to the driving force of today's run. All I see is that most SOX stocks are up nicely. Best regards, Tom

Any idea of what's driving the stock so much higher? i haven't found anything specific to vitesse, but chips are up across the board from actel to xilinx: cnnfn.com culled from a mid-day market report: "Semiconductor issues were by far the sector's best performers. The group rallied amid a string of upbeat earnings announcements and analysts' upgrades, including an encouraging profit report from Analog Devices (ADI) and a rating upgrade for Micron Technology (MU) by Credit Suisse First Boston. The Philadelphia Stock Exchange semiconductor index soared 23.30, or 7%, to 350.10, while the Morgan Stanley high-technology index advanced 9.50 to 762.90."
