<< Re Wacky Cures and Therapies >>

Just did a search ........

Here is an ancient healing technique used to remove wax and debris from the ear canal.

The client rests comfortably, on his or her side, on a massage table. The tip of a specially designed candle is placed in the opening of the ear canal. The end of the candle is lit, causing a vacuum which gently removes wax, etc.

This process can be used on children as well as adults. Musicians, in particular, find this an invaluable treatment.

Reported benefits include:

relief from 'pressure'
clearer hearing
relief from headaches and sinus problems
relief from earaches

Not recommended for those who have ear tubes.

Hi tippet,

Yuck, but can you play a tune when doing this this?
