Not a bad day closes up 7/8 on a very crappy day. =Cidco Up 33%; Market Players Can't Explain Climb NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Cidco Inc. (CDCO) climbed 33% on heavy volume Thursday, a trend some traders and a contact at the company weren't immediately able to explain. The contact at Cidco, a Morgan Hill, Calif.-based maker of caller ID equipment and Internet-enabled telephones, said company officials issued no recent announcements and were trying to find out themselves what was behind the increase. Several traders who deal with Cidco shares said they also hadn't heard any news to explain the trend.
