Tero,

Maybe the numbers in and of themselves are a bit misleading although it does seem that CDMA is not capturing 50% of the digital mkt. If Nokia,Ericy,Mot, account for 70% of the mkt, then most of the rest must belong to QCOM, SOny,Samsung, etc, all of whom use Q Asics. I believe QPE only makes about 600,000 phones a month, production they share with Sony so they can't possibly keep up with the growth of the mkt and must be counting on the others. ..Nokia's having another fine day in the mkt:-)...Dave

I know this is a VERY GROSS simplification but the numbers do add up if QCOM has not been increasing their manufacturing capacity significantly. If they have been at full capacity for a year and not increased their capacity significantly in a market that is growing at 100% per, that means they have exactly halved their market share (even though they are selling the same number of phones).

This would pretty much be a management issue!
