War In Texas, Janet Reno, & Hillary Clinton

by Blair G. Jeffery

He Said...

"This isn't my first rodeo," Mack Brown, coach of the Texas
University Longhorns, said Monday about his team playing
arch-rival Texas A&M University on Friday. "I've been in big
games before. In the spring, I asked people if they wanted to beat
Texas A&M or Oklahoma more. They said 'Yes.'

Umm, Mack this ain't no rodeo. You aren't ready for this type of
game yet. It's not a football game. It's THE football game.

She Said...

Attorney General Janet Reno on Tuesday declined to order an
independent counsel investigation of Vice President Al Gore over
campaign fund-raising. In a 19-page court filing, she said, ''There
are no reasonable grounds to believe that further investigation is
warranted'' into an allegation that Gore lied to investigators last year
about how a Democratic media fund was financed.

She Meant...

"The American public is asleep at the wheel with this Slick Willy
Oval Office deal. We can slip this one right under the door and let
the thieves go silently into the night."

She Said...

Nearly a year after the story of her husband's affair with onetime
intern Monica Lewinsky made headlines worldwide, here's Hillary
Clinton: the wronged wife looking more than all right, the weakened
woman who somehow seems stronger. "She's come out of a
disgusting situation, frankly, with incredible grace," Vogue editor
Anna Wintour says. "She behaved with intelligence and dignity. We
felt, in a way, she was our woman of the year."

Retort...

Funny how even Vogue magazine sees this Bill Clinton mess as
disgusting, but the average liberal democrat doesn't.
