Doug, I went long at 33. Now that I'm long, I think UBID will disappoint just to punish me <g>

Regards,

Tom

Good question.... I would think its too late... I believe it Fri... Its just that so many on this for the short haul only and are hoping to sell to the last arrive... Of all my buddies no one is a long term holder.... The fear is after xmas when there is no focus on retail sales... Also the limits put on many internet related companies as to electronic trading and the more restrictive margin requirements are now taking their toll...... Wish you well... I have done well and my only keepers are ALMI, MCNS, and NETN... But when the bloodbath is over I'll be back !!!

Was over reading the Yahoo thread, bunch of babies, and someone called ML and they said everything is a go for tomorrow!! Since we have had 2 days of consolidation, I would think that tomorrow would be a good day for the Internets as a whole. Look at the bounding accross the board today! Noone was hardly overlooked, lots of buying oppurtunities tomorrow or even now.

Good luck to all!!

Don

>I wonder if uBid will try to delay its offering for a few days, hoping the market for these Internet stocks turns around?

Doug,

The below post from Yahoo confirms your thoughts above.
I think we may be in for a nasty surprise.

"Are you the last ones to know uBID WILL NOT
be IPO tomorrow. That is why CNBC "neglected"
to mention it. Merrill has delayed it due to
bad market conditions tomorrow.

My broker told me he thinks it will go next week.

I'm pissed as hell, cause I loaded up on the
expected pop tomorrow. Now I think we could
drop 10+ pts. on this news alone."
